║ It would be easy to say that four 20 year old guys plus some guitars, ║
║ a mic and an amp makes a punk band. Following this logic, everybody ║
║ can do it. The thing with INSIDE RIOT is that not only do they do it, ║
║ but they do it real good. ║
║ ║
║ Whether on CD or on stage, the guys of INSIDE RIOT hurl their catchy ║
║ and energetic punk-rock songs in your face without letting you one ║
║ second of rest. Formed in August 2008, INSIDE RIOT immediately owned ║
║ the stages wherever the band was playing and quickly became one of the ║
║ most promising local acts of the genre. Since they started, Chris ║
║ Newhook, Ryan Dempster, Steven Paolucci and Will Laurin have shared ║
║ the stage with well established bands such as THE FLATLINERS, LIVING ║
║ WITH LIONS, BROADWAY CALLS, THE VIDEO DEAD, MUTE, KEEPIN' and good ║
║ friends THE SNIPS. ║

║ During its first year, the band independently produced its first album ║
║ called Inside Riot, released in 2009, before releasing a 7" split with ║
║ the band SHARED ARMS in early 2010. In the last year the guys have ║
║ done no less than four tours around Canada and are preparing to return ║
║ this fall. ItÆs no surprise, then, that the content of their songs ║
║ refers to personal stories and life being in a band and touring. ║

║ Big Wheel Records is proud to re-release the first self-titled album ║
║ of INSIDE RIOT and hope you discover this Montreal based band that ║
