A new album from Canadian rock icon Matthew Good! Over his almost two-decade
career, Matthew Good has taken us on a journey. From the Matthew Good Band
to solo album Hospital Music, to his 2011 JUNO winning release Vancouver,
Good continually pushes forward into uncharted territory; mapping new
musical landscapes most recently showcased on his latest release, Lights Of
Endangered Species.
This new album takes Matthew Good in an uinfamiliar direction, displaying
arrangments that are a distinct departure from the likes of songs "Born
Losers" and "Last Parade." Stark and passionate best describe this latest
effort and despite its differences from the Matt Good we are familiar with,
the first single "In A Place Of Lesser Men" has already proven that it sits
comfortably with his fans. It's clear with this album that he has done
something different; and that something reaffrims Matthew Good's place as
one of Canada's most relevant artists.
