A Norwegian jazzproject comprising of jazzlegends that features
different vocalists and plays slightly different standards everytime
they play together. In 1998/1999 this was the lineup:
- Vocals: Beate Slettevoll Lech (Folk & R°vere/Beady Belle)
- Saxophone and flute: Morten Halle
- Guitar: Jon Eberson
- Bass: Bj°rn Kjellemyr
- Drums: Pσl Thowsen
- Piano: Rune Klakegg
- Vibraphone: Rob Waring
- Strings: Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra stringsection
They did a few gigs, but the most important document is this record,
featuring jazz standards beautifully sung by Lech and masterly
arranged by mostly Morten Halle, while Jon Eberson arranged track 1
and 6.
Produced by Jock Loveband, Jon Eberson & Kai Rob°le. Recorded and
mixed at Waterfall Studios.
