Node's "Terminus" features 21 minutes of electronic music recorded live
in Paddington Train Station in late 1995. Two versions of the live track
"Terminus" recorded at NODE's Paddington station appearance, the 5 and a
half minute 'Express' mix and the full 16 minute 'Calling at all Stops'
mix. The main track is a mesmeric combination of sequences and
subliminal effects. The overall sound is presented in a very low key
manner and yet it comes across as awesomely powerful. The whole thing is
a melting pot and anyone wanting to know how the term "organic" can be
applied to EM should listen to this. The 'Express' mix is a radio
friendly collage of the full piece and is a masterpiece in its own
right. Totally awesome--maestros at play!
