"King of all he surveys when it comes to the trance world,
Judge Jules has been
(and remains) one of the most important figures in modern
dance history. ItÆs
therefore fitting that heÆs at the helm for Ministry of
SoundÆs æTrance Nation
AnthemsÆ collection. A triple CD set, the compilation calls
in all the biggest
trance hits of the past decade alongside a smattering of
current club and chart
smashes. CD one and two feature a wealth of trance classics
whilst the third CD -
entitled æGone But Not ForgottenÆ û is named after the
popular section from Judge
JulesÆ BBC Radio 1 show in which he revisits dance-floor
anthems."

"If itÆs non-stop dance-floor detonators you're looking for
you've come to the
right place. Trance Nation Anthems, Mixed by the King of
Clubs, Judge Jules, is
THE definitive collection of all time greats.
The Judge has chosen every one of these 50 tracks based
purely on their musical
merit - this is undoubtedly the largest selection of trance
anthems in existence.
The triple CD package features the biggest Trance hits of
all time, and plots the
history of the scene over the last 8 years, with a
track-listing that reads as a
who's who of Trance.
CDs 1 and 2 are Classic Trance Anthems, while CD 3 is
entitled 'Gone But Not
Forgotten', named after the popular section from Judge
Jules' BBC Radio1 show in
which he salutes classic dance-floor anthems. Highlights of
this disc are the
hypnotic, relentless 'Dark and Long' by Underworld, the epic
track 'Saltwater'
from Chicane, the positively thunderous 'Access' by DJ Tim
and Misja and the the
all time mind-blowing Ibiza cut 'Energy 52' from Cafe Del
Mar.
Disc 1 begins with the stunning Ferry Corsten remix of
William Orbit's 'Barbers
Adagio For Strings' which transforms the classical
composition of Samuel Barber
into a spine-tingling corker. Moving into another Ferry
Corsten production 'Out
Of The Blue' by System F the mix gathers pace and smoothly
mixes tracks that
reads as a who's who of Trance - Matt Darey, Delirium, Push,
Binary Finary, Solar
Stone - all massive favourites in this positively electric
mix.
CD2 begins with a timeless classic - the haunting piano keys
can only be Robert
Miles' 'Children'. Expect to hear some of the greats with
Way Out West, Three
Drives, Zombie Nation, Art of Trance and Warrior to name but
a few.
Ministry of Sound, Judge Jules, 50 Trance Anthems, 3CDs,
nearly 4 hours of music.
This is one that should definately not be missed!"
