The next installment in the unstoppable Pure Garage series
sees a real coup with DJ EZ
joining forces with the legendary Todd Edwards for a massive
double CD selection of 4 To The
Floor stormers. The 4/4 sound has been steadily gaining
popularity in the garage scene for
some time now. ItÆs huge in the clubs and on the airwaves,
and is attracting a whole new
breed of clubbers to the garage scene. Todd Edwards has
always been one of the heroes of UK
Garage. Right from the early days of Matt æJamÆ Lamont &
Karl æTuff EnuffÆ Brown playing
speeded up US garage, Todd has been a permanent fixture on
the playlist of all the top DJs.
Today he is more popular than ever, with the likes of EZ
still championing his tunes and the
new found love of the four four beat pushing him firmly into
the limelight. ToddÆs vinyl
releases sell large numbers and some of his early
productions now command silly prices and
are regularly bootlegged such is the demand. 4 To The Floor
is the definitive round up of the
4/4 scene, going right back to the early US house and garage
sounds, up to todayÆs homegrown
beats.
