Borghesia is a cult EBM band from Slovenia. Was formed 1983 in
Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, by some students as a spin-off
to a theater-project. The band had its own place where they gave
performance and arranged concerts. Among other things Borghesia
organized Laibachs first public appearance.
Borghesias image is antiauthoritarian and anti-nationalistic.
However they emphasize different forms of submission and coercion
these are not just political to their nature but also of a sexual
nature.
Borghesias visual image, for example on their record covers, is very
explicit homosexual and has sadomasochistic undertone.
Between 1987 and 1992 the group was signed by "Play it again Sam",
who has artists as Front 242 and similar EBM-groups.
Main discography :
No Hope No Fear EP (Play It Again Sam 1987)
Naked Uniformed Dead EP (Play It Again Sam 1988)
Escorts And Models LP (Play It Again Sam 1988)
Resistance LP/CD (Play It Again Sam 1989)
Surveillance and Punishment EP (Play It Again Sam 1989)
She is Not Alone 12" (Play It Again Sam 1989)
Message CD (Play It Again Sam 1990)
Dreamers In Colour CD (Play It Again Sam 1992)
This bootleg comes from their show in Ubach (Germany) at Palenberg
Rockfabrik on 19 Sept. 1988.
It's analog recording so quality isn't high but still worth to have
for fans of classic old-school EBM.Enjoy !!!

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
