| | An excellent three-tracker from the 3 Sample | |
| | crew here. The A-side has the original mix | |
| | of "High On Life", a very kickin' track with | |
| | some pizzicato strings and orchestral hits | |
| | backed up by dub basslines and ruff breaks. | |
| | It manages to last for 6:43 and not get | |
| | boring. There's also a slightly re-arranged | |
| | mix on the B-side, entitled "Rewind Come | |
| | Again". The B-side winds down with a track | |
| | entitled "S.O.R. In The Jungle", the S.O.R. | |
| | presumably referring to "Street Of Rage", the | |
| | original version of which appeared on their | |
| | previous 12" (also just released by us here | |
| | at SOUR). This version drops the pianos but | |
| | keeps the breakbeats and vocals, and is a | |
| | choon, lemme tell ya. I prefer the original | |
| | mix myself but this version always seems to | |
| | go down a storm. | |
