ASC moves in techier ambient mode for the
'Ghost Train EP' on his Auxiliary series. This
is the place where he clears out his
non-dancefloor ideas, arriving at tenderised
steppers patterns and widescreen basses for
'Ghost Train', all coated with unusually lo-fi
textures. 'Motionless' is more downbeat, but
not quite inert, flickering with insectoid
rhythms and stabbing samples. 'M357' pares
everything back to an spare palette of ticking
percussion and buried diva vocal, while
'Remnants' steers to the edge of the 'floor
with hi-tech steppers' syncopations.
