about-------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Diplodocus has been making a little noise on the under under for a
while but now itÆs time to really bring it on. Born in Mississippi,
raised in Florida and now currently residing in North Philly where the
Hollertronix parties he DJs at have been featured stateside in issues
of both XXL and The Fader, Diplo makes the kind of hard-edged,
razor-drummed, krunked up Southern bounce youÆve only dreamt of. But he
ties this to a fantastic ear for a sample and a really musical way of
making instrumental hip hop. Actually, that makes him sound lame.
DiploÆs just a pure avant-gully human jawn machine and this single
proves it, really proves it beyond any doubt.

With his ôNewsflashö single causing ripples on white label promo and
explosively good time DJ sets being planned for Europe, these two epics
show that heÆs a name to watch over the coming year.

Diplo divides his time between eating ketchup chips, chasing Nepali
girls to California and writing beats for David Banner (okay, youÆll
have heard of him soon). His full length, ôBounce Aesthetic û Stories
About Florida,ö will be released on Big Dada next yearà"

The A side is broken down into 4 parts for the tracklist but it's one
track intended to be listened to as a whole. Yes, I'm sure.

Side A recorded at Indian Mound Fish Camp, New Smyrna, Florida
additional vocals by Devalina Guha Roy / bass by Dan Yemen
drums programming by Electric Manatee courtesy of Strawberry
Mansion Inc. Contains a portion of "Dirty Water Monster"
         performed by Silver Thunder.

Side B recorded at Southern Poetry, Tupelo, Mississippi
solo guitar by Wes Gully / additional vocals by the Hahn Family
Contains an interpolation of "Now and Forever" by Electric
         Hanuman.

Big Dada is in need of a proofreader. At their site it's spelled
"Epistemology" (the correct spelling), on the vinyl and sleeve you
can find two additional spellings, "Epistimology" and "Epistomology".
  So, yeeeah.
