│║ Do you remember OutloudÆs debut album, released ║ │
│║ by Frontiers Records a little less than two ║ │
│║ years ago? I called it a great start for the ║ │
│║ band and hoped that more albums would follow. ║ │
│║ Well, my prayers were answered and here is album ║ │
│║ number two, again produced by guitarist Bob ║ │
│║ Katsionis and mixed/mastered by Tommy Hansen. ║ │
│║ Called ôLove Catastropheö, it was already ║ │
│║ recorded during the summer of 2010, but fans had ║ │
│║ to be patient for the release, first because the ║ │
│║ band members didnÆt find the time for photo ║ │
│║ sessions and the recording of videos and ║ │
│║ secondly because Frontiers Records couldnÆt ║ │
│║ release the album before the end of 2011. ║ │
│║ Luckily enough for them and for us, Georg Siegl ║ │
│║ of AOR Heaven was ready to take over from ║ │
│║ Frontiers and he released the album through AOR ║ │
│║ Heaven last month. Anyway, what counts is that ║ │
│║ this album is the perfect follower for ôWeÆll ║ │
│║ Rock You To Hell And Back Againö. The songs are ║ │
│║ at least as strong and the band comes over as a ║ │
│║ tighter unit. Among the best tracks are the ║ │
│║ (first) single ôWaiting For Your Loveö, the ║ │
│║ ballad ôSomedayö (featuring backing vocals from ║ │
│║ Deana Cook, front lady of Heartless, a well- ║ │
│║ known cover band (Heart) in the US) and ║ │
│║ ôIsolation Gameö. OutloudÆs debut album didnÆt ║ │
│║ get any higher than the 51st place in our poll ║ │
│║ of 2009. Although the competition is quite tough ║ │
│║ this year, IÆm pretty sure that this second ║ │
│║ Outloud opus will do better. ║ │
