│║ Solo nos queda felicitar el trabajo de Silver a ║ │
│║ la voz, en un disco, que si ya recibi≤ muy ║ │
│║ buenas crφticas por parte de METALZONE y de la ║ │
│║ prensa en general en su versi≤n original en ║ │
│║ castellano, ahora, 7 meses despuΘs de su puesta ║ │
│║ de largo en nuestro idioma, aparece en el ║ │
│║ mercado anglosaj≤n bajo el nombre de ôTears Of ║ │
│║ Bloodö. ║ │

│║ Este trabajo no tiene otro proposito que vender ║ │
│║ Silver Fist por Europa, y asφ poder seguir ║ │
│║ conservando a una de nuestras bandas mas ║ │
│║ representativas fuera de nuestras fronteras. ║ │
│║ Prueba de ellos es que todos los a±os, Silver ║ │
│║ Fist viaja a participar en importantes ║ │
│║ festivales europeos, y este trabajo en ingles, ║ │
│║ puede abrir una puerta a la esperanza. ║ │

│║ En nuesta secci≤n ôCRITICASö, podrßs leer la ║ │
│║ review que nuestro redactor JosΘ Rojo realiz≤ ║ │
│║ del disco en castellano, llegando a la nota de ║ │
│║ 9Æ5, eso significa que este Tears of Blood no ║ │
│║ podφa dejar de tener gran nota, ya que como ║ │
│║ decia al principio, solo nos queda felicitar a ║ │
│║ Silver, ya que ha conseguido colocar unas letras ║ │
│║ muy fieles a las originales en un idioma ║ │
│║ distinto al nuestro, consiguiendo un resultado ║ │
│║ inmejorable. Algunos de los temas, parece que ║ │
│║ estßn hechos para ser cantados en la lengua de ║ │
│║ Steve Harris, como es el caso de ôThe Fearö ║ │
│║ (Miedo), ôIÆm Sorry (Lo siento), o las ║ │
│║ impresionantes ôTears of Bloodö (Lßgrimas de ║ │
│║ Sangre) y ôTormentö (Tormento), las cuales ║ │
│║ suenan mas potentes si cabe que en su edici≤n ║ │
│║ original en castellano. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ Con este trabajo en Ingles, Silver Fist han ║ │
│║ conseguido sonar de manera espectacular, y es ║ │
│║ altamente recomendable para cualquier fans del ║ │
│║ thrash metal y heavy metal mundial. Esperemos ║ │
│║ que coseche buenas crφticas de nuestros ║ │
│║ compa±eros europeos, ya que el disco, como estoy ║ │
│║ arto de contaros, es de lo mejor que se ha ║ │
│║ realizado en nuestro paφs. De nuevoàenhorabuena ║ │
│║ a SILVER FIST. ║ │

│║ After the splitting up of Muro (one of Spain's ║ │
│║ first true heavy metal bands), Silver Fist stood ║ │
│║ up of their ashes. Nor Muro, nor Silver Fist ║ │
│║ normally sing their music in English, but just ║ │
│║ like Muro did with "Mutant Hunter", Silver Fist ║ │
│║ does with "Tears of Blood". This means: same ║ │
│║ songs, though translated from Spanish to ║ │
│║ English. If this is a good cause, I don't know - ║ │
│║ it makes international progress maybe? But that ║ │
│║ wasn't the case with Muro, so why should it with ║ │
│║ Silver Fist? Anyway, metal sung in Spanish is ║ │
│║ always an adjustment for non-Spanish people, so ║ │
│║ maybe it's just to make their music more ║ │
│║ understandable (literally). In any case, the ║ │
│║ heavyness stays and their still as true as ║ │
│║ before, Spanish or not. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ This album isn't an enlightment inside heavy ║ │
│║ metal terms, but it's ferm, good old and very ║ │
│║ professional played stuff (it should be, some of ║ │
│║ them are playing since '84 in Muro). With the ║ │
│║ opening song "The Fear" they make a very good ║ │
│║ start, but you experience immediately one big ║ │
│║ problem: the vocals. Translating is one thing, ║ │
│║ but working the accent away, is another. The ║ │
│║ Spanish tongue is heard throughout the whole ║ │
│║ album, and can be pretty irritating. Okay, ║ │
│║ Spanish in metal can be a bit less convincing or ║ │
│║ maybe even a bit less strong then English, but ║ │
│║ I'd rather have that they'd sing in their own ║ │
│║ language then in English (certainly if their ║ │
│║ accent is too obvious). If you hear for example ║ │
│║ "Lagrimas de Sangre" and then you hear the ║ │
│║ translated version "Tears of Blood", my choice ║ │
│║ is pretty clear. Anyway, enough on that aspect. ║ │
│║ Musically it's very good, vocal-wise it's pure ║ │
│║ heavy metal and it makes you headbanging, what ║ │
│║ more should it do? Though, while for me it all ║ │
│║ feels right and the music appeals to me a lot, ║ │
│║ nor Muro, nor Silver Fist are favorite bands of ║ │
│║ mine. They're good to hear once in a while, but ║ │
│║ not to go real crazy about. I've seen Silver ║ │
│║ Fist on Keep It True VI, and they didn't make ║ │
│║ any impression next to other bands (ofcourse ║ │
│║ Exciter and Solitude Aeturnus played there, but ║ │
│║ either way it wasn't what I'd hoped for). They ║ │
│║ don't reach above average level, although their ║ │
│║ music may be played professionally and sounds ║ │
│║ very heavy. The cover of Accept's "Balls to the ║ │
│║ Wall" doesn't make me wild either, but then ║ │
│║ again, I'm not too big of a fan of covers on ║ │
│║ full albums. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ Anyway, this is a Spanish band with a high ║ │
│║ reputation and some good musicians - they surely ║ │
│║ have their horde of fans behind them, but it ║ │
│║ seems that they just can't convince me with ║ │
│║ anything they do (and surely not by singin' in ║ │
│║ English). If you like plain good heavy metal ║ │
│║ with some speed influences, and the whole ║ │
│║ trueness theme, this band is probably something ║ │
│║ for you - otherwise you'd probably think this is ║ │
│║ too average. ║ │
