SQ birthday! 19/08/2001 - 19/08/2011 (Can you count? Yes that is 10 years!)
As a bday gift we decided to release some early compilations from the 90's:
- House Party Megamixes (1 till 13)
- Turn Up The Bass Megamixes (1990 till 1996).
- Turn Up The Bass Compilations (1 till 25).
These compilations introduced many people (including some SQ members) in the
early 90's to electronic genres like: Acid, Gabber, Hardcore, House, Techno,
Trance, as it was still underground. Many tracks from these compilations are
well known classics today. Released on 'Arcade' a label from The Netherlands
which is also known from the Dance Classics and Thunderdome compilations.
We would like to thank...
- artists and record labels for releasing all the quality music we enjoy.
- everyone in the scene who shares the same love for music (and iso :-)).
- groups who did the same releases as we did.. those races were the best!
- sysops/siteops for having us as affil and running the digital paradises.
- admins/owners from dupe databases.. you can guess why we need you right?
- the mp3 council for creating the rules (yes, order must be maintained).
- traders/couriers for pressing the button or let a script press it? ;-)
- morgoth (and the new guy) for developing mp3releaser, please continue!
- the developers from glftpd(-ng), pzs-ng and other third-party scripts.
- admins from the irc networks, especially those who provide spoofs. :-)
- audio freaks on hydrogenaudio.org and the contributors on discogs.com.
And of course those we forgot to mention in here, thank you too!
