Hot Club de Suede are playing Hot Club Jazz (gypsy swing).
Many of the tunes are Django Reinhardt compositions.This
group is the most successful hot club band in Sweden. The
group was founded 2001 in Stockholm, but the members had
already known each other for several years. They have now
collaborated with many guests-stars like Jimmy Rosenberg &
Ola Kvernberg. In Januari 2003 they played at the Oslo Django
Festival with Dorado Schmitt, Mandino Reinhardt, The
Rosenberg Trio and Hot Club de Norvege. They have recorded
one album featuring Fredrik Lindborg on Tenorsax, Klas
Lindquist on Clarinet and Gunnar Lidberg on Violin and one
album featuring Jimmy Rosenberg.
