Dream Police spilte melodi°s, bluesbasert hardrock
og tok sitt navn etter en sang med Cheap Trick fra
1979. Gruppa ble dannet i 1989 av vokalist Odd
RenΘ Andersen, bassist Rino Johannessen og
trommeslager Ole Petter Haugen fra Fredrikstad,
samt gitarist Trond Holter fra Halden.
Albumdebuten Dream Police kom ut pσ CBS, nσdde 9.
plass pσ VG-lista i desember 1990 og ble nominert
til Spellemannsprisen. Plata ble ogsσ utgitt i
Japan og Canada med annerledes covere. Oppf°lgeren
Messing With The Blues gikk til 13. plass i 1992,
men samme σr ble Dream Police oppl°st. Vokalisten
kalte seg RenΘ Andersen pσ sine to soloalbum fra
1995-96. De tre andre jobber fortsatt som
musikere, og Trond Holter fikk siden suksess i Wig
Wam under navnet Teeny.
Denne re-utgivelsen er en del av "Norsk pσ nytt"
serien med oppgradert lyd (remastered).
