We were all very sad when Aeroplane's Stephen Fasano filed for divorce at the
end of last year, but thankfully he's bounced back, finding a new (musical)
paramour in the shape of the amazing Yuksek. Let's hope it's true love and not
just a rebound thing, as this new collaborative project out on Kitsune has us
grinning from ear to ear. Title tune "Twist" is a midtempo stroll trough some
Italo/cosmic synthscapes and Moroderesque vocodered vocals, while "La
Fiorentina" is a slow and cheeky slice of electro-meets-French pop. "Love In
Rimini" again seems flushed with the romantic energy of young love, as the pair
gallop through an Italo melody via their faultless disco production skills. We
definitely approve.
