Bunker Soldier's new offering "Triple Threat" has quite an
interesting tale behind it. Tim first went to the Panhandle House
Studios in Denton, TX with enough material to make a complete album,
and then some. Bunker decided to soften his image and produce the
OMD themed CD he has always wanted to create. He was even going to
name the project "The Debris Field" so as not to confuse fans
looking for hard-hitting industrial tones. After meeting with
producer Erik Herbst that all changed. Convinced that Bunker
Soldier needed to keep his trademark sound, they set out a plan to
record a 3 song EP. Scrapping all but 2 songs, the recording began
in October 2003. The results are most impressive and nails
perfectly what Tim had first initially hoped to create when Bunker
Soldier was launched in 1994. You can now call his sound
"Industrial Pop."
Bunker Soldier celebrates 10 years of making industrial dance music
in 2004. In 10 years he released 3 CD's, played numerous shows and
now is a family man with 2 sons, Colton and Logan. He spent a
couple years as an airline pilot until 9/11 derailed his future.
Now his focus is 100% back on his music. "Flying" is his best song
to date in every aspect. It will be pushed hard as a radio single
this Spring. You would think the song would be reflective of his
airline career. But it couldn't be farther from that line of
thought. The song is actually about communicating to a lover who
has passed on. Speaking up to the clouds as to say "Hey, you aren't
supposed to be up there! But I want you to know I am still with
you, in my dreams, flying in your arms." The lyrics were not
written from a personal experience. Nonetheless, they are touching
and uplifting, as is the sweeping chorus. Singer Hildegunn Surdal
very aptly delivers with angelic vocals in "Flying." She is a 21
year Norwegian jazz singer attending the University of North Texas
in Denton,TX where Bunker now resides.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
