│ Alien Safari has been hosting outdoor trance parties in and around Cape │
│ Town, South Africa, since the good old goa-trance days. Needless to say, │
│ it's been a long time coming for the first cd release. Strangely enough, │
│ it's taken several years (must be the skunk!) for local producers to │
│ come out and playàbut it's finally happening and is simply going to get │
│ better and better. This compilation represents the growing number of │
│ producers, creating psychedelic trance in South Africa. For many of │
│ these producers this is there first ever release, so expect fresh energy │
│ and lots of psychedelia. It's a solid dance album...not for the │
│ faint-hearted, which bounces between nighttime power tracks, and kicking │
│ morning grooves. These tracks have been selected by the Alien Safari │
│ dj's and have been rocking the Cape Town dance floors throughout this │
│ past summer. The cd is an excellent dj fodder, as well as energizing │
│ home listening, covering various styles-but always psychedelic, and │
│ always rocking. New unreleased kicking tracks by Shift, Damage, │
│ Rinkadink, Xatrix, Flaming Hoons, Artifakt, Cannabidroid. │
