The original and founding label. Kickin Records was the starting
point for all that has grown today - for all that is part of Kickin

Kickin Music launched in April 1989 in the basement of founder and
MD, Peter Harris. Embodying and representing the powerful sound of
the upcoming and dominant rave scene at the time. Kickin made an
immediate impact with releases by The Scientist, and Shut Up and
Dance, Zero Zero, Wishdocta, Xenophobia And Messiah. As the label's
profile grew, so did its exposure and workforce. Kickin started on a
journey of discovery and adventure.
One of the few nowadays which escapes the pigeon holing of styles
that can hinder many labels. Anything with power, energy and
originality can be found on Kickin Records with a catalogue spreading
over 13 years including The Scientist, DJ Hype, Grant Nelson, DJ
Hell, Plantastik (Bushwacka!), Rennie Pilgrim, Jonah, King Britt,
