Frijsfo catch Cardopusher on a roll, following some of his
best work over the last 12 months. He finds a tidy roll,
kinked - El-B style - with Latin syncopation and strong
but floaty synth arrangements on 'Instant Glue' and 'Then
What', whereas 'Loving U' is quite different, pulling some
especially squashed swing-jack moves with craftily frayed
drums and droning bass decorated with ace, icey '80s stabs
and warm pads.
