    █ █    comments  : "The Sensualists have created a strange  █ █
    █ █                breed of music, falling somewhere be-    █ █
    █ █    tween psychedelic pop, experimental electronics,     █ █
    █ █    and upbeat dance hits. Anna Fidler╣s vocals drift    █ █
    █ █    over layers of farfisa, vintage synthesizer, organ   █ █
    █ █    sounds, electric bass, and live drums, as well as    █ █
    █ █    the their own homemade electronic sound machines.    █ █
    █ █    The Sensualists quickly gained notoriety for their   █ █
    █ █    live shows and film loop accompaniment starting with █ █
    █ █    house parties and eventually bills with Mouse on     █ █
    █ █    Mars, IQU, Broadcast, and Outhud. The second full    █ █
    █ █    length release is a collaborative/remix record of    █ █
    █ █    sorts, though not your average remix record: 7 songs █ █
    █ █    are based on tracks from their first self titled     █ █
    █ █    record and 3 songs are remixes of yet to be released █ █
    █ █    material. Chopping and mixing duties were taken by a █ █
    █ █    few Portland heavy weights such as Monkey +1 (who╣s  █ █
    █ █    programming skills and turntable antics have also    █ █
    █ █    been featured on OMCOÆs split 12ö series), Chicago's █ █
    █ █    Emperor Penguin, England's ISAN, E*Vax (who has      █ █
    █ █    releases planned for Audio Dregs, GermanyÆs Morr     █ █
    █ █    Music, Germany╣s Tom Recordings--as well as a        █ █
    █ █    previous sold out 7ö on the U.K.Æs Static Caravan),  █ █
    █ █    E*Rock (publisher of Thumb zine), The Grace Period,  █ █
    █ █    Zac Love (who╣s done remixes for The Feelings and    █ █
    █ █    Sone) as well as Volume All*Star (Slabco/Too Pure),  █ █
    █ █    and another friend we picked up along the way named  █ █
    █ █    Kid Whatever from Vancouver, Washington."            █ █
