various artists - obsessive sessions 2 æwinter warmerÆ
(obsessive) compilation mix album out december '01.
this will warm your cockles on those chilly evenings dj producer
mark shade mixes some smooth tracks for discerning house heads. a
12-track album full of classics and quality, a sweet reminder of
how some music is timeless. it kicks off in a jazzy style moving
onto derrick carter laying some fine vocals on æchange for a
twentyÆ by salt lake city orchestra (paper recordings). the mixes
are subtle, very comfortable indeed. another track to single out
is the twisted dub of ædonÆt you wannaÆ produced by the formidable
miguel migs and dj rasoul of the naked music camp û nice! the cd
has a relaxed vibe oozing pure unadulterated quality, which stands
the tests of time. mr shade displays some very apt and creative
mixes with some gems from his record box! look out for the launch
party for this cd 30th november at fiction (at the cross, london,
uk) where mark will be spinning alongside colin dale and alison
marks.
