Subsistenz is more than proud to be releasing an album that has been
anticipated by Subheadz all over this rock and hailed by many as a
benchmark release within a scene that is still developing and
carving out its own unique style. Current Value has been pushing
drum & bass to it's limits with his industrial marching sound,
always raising the bar in production and programming.
Now with his first techno influenced album we see the master of
darkness take a u-turn back to his roots of deep machine-based music
and applying his theories and craft to the modern sound of techno!
Techno will always be about machine noises and this album
personifies one machine in particular the Nord Modular G2.
Current Value with his in-depth knowledge of sound design has put
this beast of a synth through its paces, creating an album of unique
twisted atmospheres and energies with that straight-out-of-the-box
sound that Current Value masters so well. 98% of Back to the Machine
is modular G2-based, injecting a new breed of techno that carries
the old dancefloor philosophies with a 22nd century sound.
With over 15 tracks to be released for this album writing about what
all have going for them would read like the early manual from an
Akai sampler. Crank up your headphones and get lost in the sound of
one of the finest drum & bass/techno producers Current Value to
date.. Enjoy the new dawn of techno!!
