│ Science Of The Gods (1997) is the third studio album by Eat Static. │
│ First two discs were Implant and Abduction, which had more organic, │
│ alien sounds. Science Of The Gods has sharper, darker techy sounds like │
│ from an alien spacecraft. │
│ First track starts with 4 minutes of breakbeats with flute and lots of │
│ metallic clangy sounds; then it is transformed into a simple but hard │
│ banging tech-trance, still with its spacey atmosphere. Interceptor(2) - │
│ dark drum & bass track, IMO better than tracks from common dnb artists. │
│ Kryll (3) is something that oscillates between dub and slow-breaks, very │
│ nice, chillin' & peaceful. Spawn (4) - dancefloor devastation :) no │
│ comment. Hear it. Dissection (5) jungle experiment, Pseudopod (6) is │
│ just an 1 minute bridge to another track (also jungle) called │
│ Bodystealers (7). This one has sharper frequencies than Dissection. │
│ Contact..(8) is the weakest track in this album... trancers will still │
│ love it. Hangar (9) - that's 14 minutes of experiments with sounds in │
│ slow breakbeat rhythm. Awesome end of this great album, which will take │
│ you through the galaxy of sounds. │
