American born (California-raised) Chelonis Ridgeway Jones left the
USA with SONGS / PAINTBRUSHES / UNPUBLISHED POEMS & MANUSCRIPTS for
Europe in the mid 199o's. With the drive and manic dedication of 3
artists, he tackled 3 different Countries for each artistic field:
Germany for SINGING & SONGWRITING...Switzerland for PAINTINGS
(chelonis.com)...and England for POEMS & NOVELS...A few doors closed,
but more have opened for the slightly peculiar, yet original Artist.
In Germany, Chelonis R. Jones decided to -combine- all 3 aspects of
his previous works (well-thought lyrics -sometimes eccentric,
sometimes visual, but always catchy...always heartfelt)...To complete
a songwriting / lead vocalist package: something for the EYES....
EARS....SOUL....and sometimes FEET.
Before turning solo vocalist Chelonis R. Jones performed in various
rock/pop groups (CORK / CHATTERTON and COON)...And wrote songs for
up-and-coming artists: Tara Capri (Germany) / GIO (Italy) / D'mia
(USA) / Cork (Germany), sometimes writing the songs, lyrics and even
singing background voices.
