|| Renegade psy-trance rockers S.U.N. PROJECT ||
|| completed their latest album "Sexperimental". The ||
|| 3 former rock band members MARCO MENICHELLI, ||
|| MCCOY and guitarist MATTHIAS RUMOELLER have ||
|| progressed in many areas as a band and also as ||
|| electronic producers. S.U.N. PROJECT"s new sound ||
|| for 2003 has developed musically and technically ||
|| to a level of smooth continuous trance. Never ||
|| dropping a beat the album flows from track to ||
|| track introducing many atmospheres and of course ||
|| is loaded with huge soaring guitar chords. ||
|| Kicking off the album "Don"t Talk To Me" builds ||
|| to a gripping break beat and a pulsing bassline, ||
|| filled with moody parts and a distorted electric ||
|| guitar. Aside from this intro and the gentle ||
|| ambient outro the rest of the album is devoted to ||
|| energetic four to the floor party anthems. The ||
|| devious guitar chords which S.U.N. PROJECT are ||
|| widely known and admired for, are first heard in ||
|| "Looking For You", coming back after a massive ||
|| build up the pace is set for an exciting ||
|| energetic journey through psy trance. Quikry ||
|| sounds, vocal fx and bouncy progressive beats ||
|| form the solid foundation for further ||
|| explorations. An intrinsic combination of ||
|| influences from rock, funk and other electronic ||
|| genres was blended into the trio"s live-like ||
|| sounding psy trance. By relaying some of their ||
|| legendary live act flavour , the ideas and ||
|| musical elements flow in the mix with subliminal ||
|| technique. The powerful output on S.U.N. ||
|| PROJECT"s newest album Sexerimental will no doubt ||
|| become a floor filler favourite this year. ||
