Hedemora-Sater, Dalarna based hip-hop crew
Shufflas made plenty noise in the late 90's
and early 00's as a promising act both live
and on record. Made up of emcees Khaki and
Prefekt with producer Junk Vitamin, Shufflas
released their debut album "Youth Of Today" on
the Malva inprint in 2001. The enhanced CD EP
"Enter The Theatre" followed in 2003 on the
group's own Heavens Gate label, but little was
heard from Shufflas after that. Khaki and Junk
Vitamin formed the electro DJ group Bullit in
the late 00's.
The debut Shufflas 12-inch from circa 1999,
"N.T.O.T.B", is somewhat regarded a
Scandinavian hip-hop classic with its original
sounds and straight-out-the-woods type of
rhyming that came out in a time when the hip-
hop scene was dominated by Stockholm acts.
Also included here are "Going Hermit",
"Knights In Progress" (featuring Cosmic from
then prospering Looptroop crew), all
instrumentals and two bonus beats. All
turntables by Agent Rod (from fellow Hedemora
crew Frotte), and all beats by Junk Vitamin.
E-beefless note: Fuck who? It figures, you got
a cat. Very popular pet among gay people.
