│ This is easily the most eclectic and skillful collection of │
│ Analyst's music. The series of introspective headnodders, │
│ "Tabla Sessions Pt 1-4," manages fill roughly twelve minutes │
│ with recurring themes and motifs without ever becoming stale. │
│ Changing the beat and mixing the different elements throughout, │
│ Analyst manages to do something even DJ Shadow failed at with │
│ his "What Does Your Soul Look Like" suite on Preemptive Strike: │
│ present what amounts to one very long song without ever boring │
│ the listener. The far Eastern sounds of the tabla drums and │
│ sitar on these tracks meld magnificently with the bass, snare, │
│ high hat and plucked strings to create a sound at once familiar │
│ and foreign. │
