the first track starts with periodic crackles. as a bass wave is
added this starts to become more frequent. mild hissing starts as
a rhythm, working with the clicks and the feel of hum. this rises
with a bass chatter, shifting into the second track. pitter-patter
clicks are constant, while blips are drawn into stretched metallic
pulses. a high whine and wonky pulse are added - giving a less
stable feeling to the sound. this builds into a tick-tock
sequence, then it all reduces to a barely audible high pulse.
after a period of this there is a rise, triggering the tapping
rhythm of the third piece, followed by the rise and fall of the
fourth tracks' bass. the bass acts like a ball going flying past
then bouncing back. with this there are beats layered - shaken
static, solid pulses, and clear clicks. continuing this gets a
more scattered feeling, though the bass focuses into a tighter,
more pronounced pulse. with this whirrs and click scores act
     through the background.

with the fifth piece we have the blocky bouncing sound of a pixel
ted square being batted by two rectangular strips. these sounds
then layer into different pitches - working on at least 3 levels
while swirl builds behind. this forms a pulsing rhythm structure.
more layers come in along with a sweep, which mixes in a
manipulated vocal pathway. flat strokes play with higher pinging
influence. this slows, taking on a springy vibe and buzz. the
sound continues to grow working on the whole vibe that fon are
creating. stripping some there is more of a grind and pulse
feeling, leading to the more focussed intro of the sixth piece.
this pulses in a tight level, almost pattering with its regular
structure. this retains a mild and mellow feel, increasingly as
though if could fade out of existence. though the pulses become
more pronounced for their periodicity. they continue on to the
seventh piece, marked by the addition of electronic rhythm - a
buzz and tap. the rhythm plays with a regularity, but the main
pulse seems more abrupt and contradictory. slowly the pace
increases, and is does so do the layers. approximating upbeat and
perhaps suggesting a dance influence, in a minimal way.

as 7 buzzes it washes into the micro clicking of the eighth piece.
bass beats and drawn pulses working their way into this sound.
this feeling is maintained, with mild variation. stripping down we
are into the vibrating pulse structure of the tenth piece.
building an intensity with lighter sounds blossoming in the
background. a tumble of rolling beats joins the crackle, the
rolling then more of a wave. from its stripped start this piece
has become more layered - buzz, whine, beats and signal. a
distinct beat adds a harder element of rhythm, around which a
crackling electricity gathers. this leaves the last piece sudden
static pulses and silence. slowly other elements come in, building
in constant flat bass. this grows to a hum while less tangible
elements interject. progression continues with other drawn out
sounds, followed by periods of intensified micro sound. at times
melodic and others reduced to a cold electronic signal.
