░ Sherlock was the Stockholm, Sweden based
hip-hop crew active between 1995-1997.
Sherlock released a couple of 12-inches
including their debut single "Time Breathin",
and one album titled "Made To Measure" in 1997.
Comprised of producer Seb Roc and emcees
Pee Wee, Speedknock and Thomas Rusiak (who
replaced Infra Red during the recording
sessions), Sherlock's shortlived career later
proved to be one of the most important for
the entire Scandinavian/European hip-hop
movement.
Several Sherlock members, however, continued
pursuing different careers. Infra Red pursued
an acting career as well as recording reggae
inspired music under his birthname Oskar
Franzen. Thomas Rusiak, Seb Roc and Pee Wee
became a part of the Natural Bond collective,
and Thomas Rusiak pursued a successful solo
career releasing two crossover albums "Magic
Villa" (2000) and "In The Sun" (2003).
In 2010, Sherlock reunited for select live
shows and in 2011 Thomas Rusiak and Pee Wee
released their collaborative record "Still
Pee & Ru" as a duo.
Wee, an internal of original GCP pre! Now
you know this gotta be dope!
