Slick sophomore release of electronica/D&B minimalism from
Russian producer Oak, backed with a deft ASC remix. The
original is all about concentrated micro-rhythmic tension,
focused on whirring syncopation and ultra-spacious
atmospheres recalling, to an extent, his fellow Russian
producers Kontext or CoH. ASC's remix on the flip is all
kinetic rhythm programming and swooning, widescreen pads.
Then finally there's an unidentified remix, which drops
you into a decompression chamber with emphasis on broad
bass shapes and blooming atmospheres.
