Fast riser Matt Minimal makes his debut on capsula with the mind-boggling
"International Meetings" EP.
Kicking off with the title track, we are introduced to an intense groove,
based on tight drums and a bubbling bassline.
Added layers of percussion and effects help the track build while clashing
hi hats and violent stabs have a meeting of their own.
"Firecode" is more stripped down, making use of a galloping bass and
Matt's trademarked synth work.
Intricate programming and impeccable arranging take things to a whole other level.
On the EP's closer, menacing synths take over, while the solid rhythm section
provides a massive sonic backdrop for the sounds of the future to unravel
upon, showcasing this young producer's profound skills.
