New project consisting of the positively fuckable Summer (The
Machine in the Garden) and the possibly fuckable in a horny /
drunken stage Dru (This Ascension). Pretty good release, a bit
short though. If you like ethereal / heavenly voice vocal styles
definately check this band out. Sometimes stuff like this just
doesn't sound as well on vinyl, especially when they reach
those higher notes and it wants to crackle, but look for a
full-length CD coming out through Middle Pillar later this year.
This record was supposed to have came out months ago, but was
finally released last week.
Press:
The Fossil Dungeon are pleased to present the debut release from
Mirabilis, a neo-classical ethereal vocal project presented by two
of the most exceptional gothic artists in the genre: Dru of This
Ascension and Summer of The Machine in the Garden. Mirabilis
utilizes voice as the prime instrument of composition, borrowing
from traditional and original classical, ethereal, darkwave, gothic,
and medieval genres, to weave a brilliant tapestry of harmonic
beauty. Featuring an exclusive track ("Pange Melos Lacrimosum") and
an alternative version of "An Epitaph." Featuring cover artwork by
fine artist, Madeline von Foerster and presented in a lavish sleeve
with heavy 70 gram black vinyl. Limited to 500 copies!

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
