█ █ Theodore KolsouzoglouÆs project GIB was formed in Athens, █ █
█ █ Greece during 2000 and after several demo CDs and a handful █ █
█ █ of live dates, Dead Scarlet Records finally release his █ █
█ █ self-titled debut album. Largely based around driving █ █
█ █ danceable rhythms and digitised vocals, KolsouzoglouÆs █ █
█ █ music has a slightly retro analogue feel with synthetic █ █
█ █ spoken word lyrics about love, fear, loss and pain. Far █ █
█ █ from being melancholic however, his music ranges from █ █
█ █ gothicelectro-pop to dark dance, the robotic voice lending █ █
█ █ an oddly detached emotion to the mood. On the lighter, █ █
█ █ poppier side of things are the catchy 80Æs influenced 25th █ █
█ █ of September and The Haunted Song. There is also a 12th █ █
█ █ unlisted track that is based around dubby beats, acoustic █ █
█ █ guitar and a womans ecstatic groans that are somewhat █ █
█ █ detached from the theme of the main album and probably why █ █
█ █ it is included as a bonus track. █ █
