nicola conte and gianluca petrella's new standards was forerunner
of a brand new style and attitude aiming to blend clubs and jazz
halls.
now, inspired by eddy harris track, we tried to blaze a trail
towards new musical forms, with the sense of freedom of
improvisations, jazz culture but dance-oriented.
this schema sampler features stunning and very exclusive
unreleased tracks from new album recording session by nicola conte
and gerardo frisina, paolo fedreghini's please don't leave (first
release on cd for this track), an explosive new one from doctor
bbstract (gianluca petrella), struck on jazz, and new stuff from
paolo fedreghini and marco bianchi. besides titles, liner notes or
mere ostentation of virtuosity, what really counts is a magical
element that we feel on our skin, a sensation dramatically
changing our listening: "swing".
