███ souls that have fought the battle with cancer. In 2001, as ███
███ I was singing the songs from the Stronger album, I was ███
███ getting weaker and weaker. Plagued by night sweats, ███
███ confused, bruised and tired all of the time, I knew ███
███ instinctively whatever was wrong with me was out of my ███
███ control, so I tried to smile through my fears. I began a ███
███ battery of tests that led to a bone marrow biopsy and a ███
███ diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). During my ███
███ treatment, I watched so many people fight the battle against ███
███ cancer and lose. I felt and still feel like the veteran of ███
███ a war, dazed and still in shock that I am still here when so ███
███ many others were not so fortunate. It is my prayer, my hope ███
