All tracks written and produced by Carl A. Finlow.
    Vocals by Carl Finlow.

"Convergence is undoubtedly Carl's finest work to date.
It has taken over two years to agree a track listing and a change of
vocalist to complete. 2020Vision and Carl were also keen to avoid
being lumped in with the Electro Clash hype, which has also had a
    bearing on the release date.
Musically the album had to reflect many aspects of Carl's work but
still exist as what we believe to be a "proper" album with a beginning,
    middle and end.
The beginning is a reflection of Carl's live sets.
What I Need has been his biggest hit to date selling over 10 000 copies.
The mix of soul tinged vocals over Carl's superb electro production
has been a marriage made in heaven ever since we worked with Blaze
and this is exemplified in fine style on What I Need and Move On
featuring Georg Levin. Georg is the rising star of the Sonar Kollektiv
from Berlin and is currently working with Jazzanova, Masters At Work
and Wahoo as well as Random Factor. The energy is maintained by two
instrumentals, the first-Rewire pays homage to the great days of
Detroit and particularly Juan Atkins as it weaves its spell, while
After The Tone highlights RF's current dancefloor sound with rumbling
    basslines and growling synths.
This is the sound of now and will be released with a DJ T remix on
the remix EP. The middle section hosts our favourite track Second
Principles. The excitement this track has caused is created by string
arrangements Gamble and Huff or Larry Gold from the Philly years would
be proud of, layered over a trademark dirty RF electro-groove.
It is a track that would sit well with the recent Detroit beatdown
experiment as it is also mid tempo. This tempo is maintained at this
level for a moment of Reflections before we are told it is time to
Slow Right Down. The change into the title track Convergence is
breathtaking and the track is classic RF reminiscent of another
Finlow masterpiece Broken Mirror which was licensed to Playhouse
and Brique Rouge and still continues to end up on compilations 5 years
    after its release.
John Tejada and Swayzak are on remix duties for this one in 2004.
The album then Slows Right Down into electro bliss with Dreamstate
and Circuit Semantics. This end section completes the story and
allows Carl to venture into his love of laidback home listening and
futuristic electro-pop. Carl should be filed alongside Metro Area,
Carl Craig and Herbert as an important contributor to the history
of electronic music and this is his time."

IMAGINATION. Use it as a weapon.

Greets to all groups that release quality dance music.

Tronik does not condone or support the use of our releases other than
for preview use only. The spread of releases through P2P clients is
killing the scene. So if you wish to continue to download our releases,
we ask that you keep whatever you get from the scene, in the scene, or
one day there will be nothing left for you to download. If you like
the tunes we release, please support the work of the artists by
purchasing their tracks on vinyl or other media. We did. :)

-Tronik, a provider of decent and strict quality underground music-

:───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────:

    Group Info:

Tronik is a group that "consistently" focuses on releasing strictly
"quality" underground dance music (up front, old and new). To many,
Tronik has become the only true, dedicated group, pushing the frontier
of quality & excelling beyond the expected. Full of desire to be the
best, it takes the efforts of the many to do the jobs right and truly
    work as a group.

    We are currently looking for:
    - Supportive rippers and promos suppliers.
    - Individuals who believe they can help make Tronik a better group
