Paul Funkee presents his debut release on Sasha Carassi's capsula label
with two energetic tracks that nod slightly to the dark side.
In "Atom", Skipping beats and an evolving synth stab are the orders
of the day.
A sub bassline provides the necessary momentum, under layers of effects
and vocal snippets working together effortlessly.
"Radiac" goes for a more bouncy approach via the use of percussion,
yet keeps the other-worldly vibe going with a mean snare drum.
Dark synths intertwine with echoey samples, while the tight rhythm
section provides a tough backdrop.
