What would Christmas be without the obligatory
slew of Christmas-themed records eh? And
sometimes, just sometimes one comes along thatÆs
actually just that little bit special indeed. This
latest from Icelandic charmers Mum is one such
sparkling prezzie, and contains three dazzling
renditions of traditional Icelandic Christmas
songs that youÆre more than likely not too
familiar with. We might not understand the words,
but this is gorgeous, warming, mince pie eating,
beer willing and Christmas pud-lighting stuff that
could light a Christmas flame in even the coldest,
darkest soul. One spin of this beauty and itÆll be
snowing, the port will be flowing and the turkey
cooking û trust me. Believe in the Christmas
magic, itÆs clearly still alive and well over in
Iceland.
