Some thirty years since collaborating on the first
Depeche Mode album, electro-pop visionaries Vince Clarke
and Martin Gore reunite under the aegis of VCMG. Backed
with remixes from Regis, Edit Select and XOQ, 'Spock' is
a pure Techno affair, taking inspiration from more
industrial, Teutonic strains of 4/4. Their original mix
will safely satisfy the big rooms, but if you're after
something with a more forward-thinking finesse and
potential check for the steely sensuality of the Regis
remix or Edit Select's intense ascension. In case you're
in any doubt, the production of each is second to none.
