     Fantastic Japanese reissue of this gorgeous album (which we also
     think goes under the name Pedro Pedreiro) by the great Quarteto Em
     Cy -- who are one of the most beautiful Brazilian groups of all
     time, and a fantastic quartet of female voices that lay down
     heavenly harmony renditions of bossa nova and jazz tracks. This
     first LP includes their takes on tracks by Baden Powell, Marcos
     Valle, Oscar Castro Neves, and Chico Buarque, and the arrangements
     are by Oscar Castro Neves himself. The sound is out of this world,
     and this reissue's just about the only way you'll find one of their
     early records available in its entirety.
