By now we know that 4lux brings hi-quality nu-jazz and grooving house
music. And this release shows that Gerd (4lux label boss) know whats
good! French band Zimpala comes with an incredible funky track in the
same style as their acclaimmed single "Can't fall asleep" . This
tracks gets the remix treatement from Dutch talent Kettel. Kettel,
known for its releases on DUB recordings, delivers a nice downtempo
jazzy version of "Pas meme le cri de l'un Oiseau". Instead of using
the vocals and the uptempo housy beats he extracted the jazzy bits
and made this very nice and typical rmx. On the B-side Jimpster gives
us another reason to dance! He delivered an exquisite house version
which grooves and moves. Smooth rolling basslines warm chords and the
typical vocals of the original (also comes in a instrumental version)
are making this a track that will move the crowds for sure! Hi-
quality urban music on 4lux indeed. (on limited red vinyl!)
