▓████▓▌ from Magicrays reads like pure musician's fantasy: ▓▌
▓████▓▌ travelling out to the Arizona desert to record an ▓▌
▓████▓▌ album with one of the best producers on the globe ▓▌
▓████▓▌ today. For Raph, Wladimir, Greg and Joδl, the ▓▌
▓████▓▌ fairytale starts with a letter sent to the producer ▓▌
▓████▓▌ and musician John Parish. The Englishman, whose ▓▌
▓████▓▌ work has included albums from P.J. Harvey, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Sparklehorse, Eels, Dominique A or Goldfrapp, liked ▓▌
▓████▓▌ what he heard and invited the boys over. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Result? The quartet pack their instruments, a ▓▌
▓████▓▌ sack-full of musical ideas and their old mate Fig, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ founder of Gentlemen Records and former guitarist ▓▌
▓████▓▌ for Favez, and hit the road heading for Tucson, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Arizona, homeland and recording studio of Calexico. ▓▌
▓████▓▌ Working with the master Parish, the five get down ▓▌
▓████▓▌ to work, laying down twelve new tracks during their ▓▌

▓████▓▌ Switzerland. After recording several tracks on EP ▓▌

▓████▓▌ its first album, "Granted", in 2000. The second LP, ▓▌
▓████▓▌ "Take me home" (Gentlemen Records, 2002), placed ▓▌
▓████▓▌ the group to the forefront of the Swiss musical ▓▌
▓████▓▌ scene and was given "RepΘrage" on the top Swiss ▓▌
▓████▓▌ radio station Couleur 3. This melodious album ▓▌
▓████▓▌ attracted a large audience, not only in Switzerland ▓▌
▓████▓▌ but also in France, Germany, the Netherlands and ▓▌
▓████▓▌ England. In 2003, the band played in numerous ▓▌
