The soundtrack to this 1996 summer blockbuster cuts
across genre lines with the same random force as a
tornado slicing through a town. Bluegrass fiddler
Alison Krauss and metal headbangers Van Halen are among
those who contribute previously unreleased tracks; the
list also includes Belly, k.d. lang, The Red Hot Chili
Peppers and former Fleetwood Maccers Buckinghan and
Nicks. Tori Amos provides an alternate version of the
BOYS FOR PELE track "Talula," with tornado-inspired
lyrics.
