█ Killer in the Rain.ö The master of the detective story, ChandlerÆs █
█ novella was written before the creation of Philip Marlowe, a fictional █
█ character whose creation would make Chandler famous. Nonetheless, this █
█ story came with the same first person narrative and film-noir like █
█ storytelling that Chandler was known for. Tape Loop OrchestraÆs report █
█ on this however is certainly free from the potential stereotypes that █
█ sounds associated with it might be pigeonholed. There is no sense of █
█ smoky bars or jazz notes, the music here is very much a contemporary, █
█ dreamy and hypnotic concoction of strings, electronics and avant-garde █
█ sounds. █
