Born in Porte-au-Prince, Haiti, SIKA's sings in
English, French, and creole, with a voice
reminiscent of Tracy Chapman. The themes she
expresses on tracks like It's Ok to be Alone are
meant to evoke feelings, body heat, reason and
colour tones, and were carefully worked into a
richly sonourous 6-song EP produced by
Florida-based sound wizard Andy Barrow who has
worked with up-and-coming creole artists.
