hand Sugar B and of course the smooth jazz voice of Leena Conquest.
Sure you still remember LeenaÆs 1994 classic "Boundaries" (hell
yeah!). Joining talent with Uwe Walkner (known from Walkner-Moestl on
G-Stone), Frederic Hintenaus, Andreas Teufelauer and Peter Popp aka
Sonoluce leads to tracks on this album made for becoming your
favourite joy.
SONOLUCE is an Italian term you might translate with "Sound of
Sunlight". That's what the four musicians, producers and video
artists of Sonoluce had in mind when working on this album. More
exactly, that's what they had in their hearts, and it's no wonder: if
you once happen to come to the city of Linz in Austria, you might
take the north west rout and drive for about 15 or 20 miles and after
a while you will find yourself surrounded by fields of sun flowers,
huge areas of untouched forests and a clear air that almost makes you
taste the sun beams of an early summer morning. And if you're lucky
and a good scout you may find an old farmhouse and when getting
closer you may hear unexpected though somehow fitting sounds from the
inside. Than you have found Sonoluce's headquarter and you will
instantly understand not only the name but also where the music comes
from.
