Novoton give you Knivderby, Sweden's best kept secret and a
band compared to everything from Radio Birdman, Richard
Lloyd, Franke, The Stooges, Monster Magnet and Silverbullit
with slick guitar hooks that would make Johnny Marr
jealous. We are very proud to be able to present their
fifth album, "Uppochnervanda Kors" (Upsidedown crosses).
Knivderby make noise as if life depended on it, which it
might also do. This is exactly what the doctor prescribes
against Idol, X-Factor, etc. Swedish noisy/trashy rock at
its best.
Or, to quote the band themselves when they describe their
upcoming album: "This is what it looks like. No separated
audio, four guys, a guitar, an organ, a bass, a drum set
and four recording channels (ie the drums in mono). Fine
guest artists. Songs about holding the fire and burning the
hands. You thought it would be a flashy production now that
there are a record label involved. You were wrong. Still
some is left to the imagination. you must put a part of
yourself in it when you listen. Expected melodies, rhymes
and all that shit we leave to others, this is pure fuel and
volley".
Knivderby are:
Frank [drums]
Den Odopte [organ]
Dynamobossan [guitar, vocals]
Panik [bass]
