With her bed as a stage and hairbrush for microphone, Jennifer ôJenny Leeö
Milligan started singing at the age of 6. Accompanied by her motherÆs 45Æs on
her Micky Mouse turnable she was determined to grow-up and be Elvis. By the age
of 11 her bed was replaced by a stage and by 22 she was touring the US with a
real microphone as the lead in the National Tour of Hair. She holds a BFA from
the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and an MFA from Naropa
University and has studied with the Master of Jazz Dance, Luigi, for more than
27yrs. She has sung for rock bands, cabaret, appeared on TV and performed in
more than 75 plays & musicals. Following divine wind she found herself in France
where she met Pascal Fouquet. She traveled a long way to find herself back in
her roots digging deeper into the Blues, Rhythm & Blues and Jazz from the 40æs
&50Æs.
The Hoodoomen
The Hoodoomen a well known and respected French Blues band have undergone many
transformations since 1998. They have played the circuit of Blues Festivals
across Europe and Canada and have won many awards from various Blues
Associations including best French band of the year for 2002 and best album in
