`: anymore may be a slight misnomer. :'
`: Increasingly, The Intersphere is :'
`: sounding more like a modern post- :'
`: punk, post-grunge, alternative rock :'
`: band, equivalent to much of the :'
`: fodder in more mainstream circles, :'
`: happily available in the US and most :'
`: elsewhere. The songs are short and :'
`: catchy, having a pop feel, adding :'
`: more to their accessibility than :'
`: intrigue. If anything, there's an :'
`: edgier side to Hold On, Liberty!, as :'
`: on some songs like Masquerade, :'
`: Sleeping God,o or Capital. But any :'
`: of these tunes can also describe the :'
`: aforementioned nebulous melodic alt :'
`: rock signature. If anything nears :'
`: the 'prog' label, that has been :'
`: associated with them in the past :'
`: (including from Dangerdog Reviews), :'
`: the longer Parallel Lines may come :'
`: close. :'

`: So then is The Intersphere's Hold :'
`: On, Liberty! worth your time? :'
`: Perhaps, if the band and the sound :'
`: appeals to you. Certainly, tunes :'
`: like Capital, Open End, We Are, and :'
`: the title track offer glimmers of :'
`: both consistency and advancement. :'
`: Check it out, and consider for :'
`: yourself. :'
